Web design:
SPSS, Inc.
The SPSS, Inc. Web redesign was part of a larger corporate rebranding project that was actually done in two stages. The initial design was redone to better connect with the final rebranding and was completely done in-house.
Some of the things we considered when rolling out this design were: Usability, layout, ease-of-use, extension of identity, global acceptance, and 508 compliance.
Elements
Similar to the corporate identity, the SPSS, Inc. website utilized elements of the corporate branding, such as the grid pattern, the chevron, and the focal elements carried through in other branding collateral.
Testing
Internal testing was done to further refine and edit the site before roll-out to external audiences
Results
The site was a huge success. Page view times were greatly increased, the layout, structure, and consistency of the page greatly reinforced the company's corporate identity, global acceptance with other offices was also successful.
